How to connect hiveserver2 from dbeaver ? Print

Jdbc url : jdbc:hive2://rm01.itversity.com:10000/sparkdatabox_projects

hostname : rm01.itversity.com
database/schema : sparkdatabox_projects

username : <copy from lab dashboard>

password : <copy from lab dashboard>

Please create new connection in dbeaver and enter all the above information and test connection . It will connect to the hive from dbeaver , here you can query the hive tables using dbeaver .
